Editor-in-Chief, April 2019 – April 2020
- Operated all aspects of the biweekly student publication, as well as our online content; oversaw the production process from assigning pitches to copyediting to layout. Produced special issues such as the Green Issue and the Love and Sex Issue. Examples of print issues can be viewed here.
- Dictated the editorial and aesthetic direction of all print issues.
- Planned, edited, and produced two magazines alongside the Features Editor, Managing Editor, and the visual team: SPACE (Fall 2019) and PLAY (Spring 2020).
- Ran The Strand‘s social media along with a group of Editorial Assistants.
- Hired and managed a team of over 50 section editors, copy editors, writers, editorial assistants, illustrators, and photographers.
- Organized an annual production budget in coordination with the Managing Editor and Business Manager.
- Sat on The Strand‘s Board of Directors.
